And that's why Google will win.

I recently switched and consolidated all my email accounts to Gmail. In the process of doing so I discovered how Google will win over the public.

Simplicity.

One page takes care of all of my Google Apps, Blogger, Analytics, Gmail. Everything.

The Selling Point:
This isn't meant to be a plug for Gmail, even though you should switch. But what's important is that if Google can make something so simple for any user, why can't your company? Honestly, take a step back and look at your company's protocol for a new client or problem. Is it a simple solution? Simple makes customers happy, customers who are happy--blog.

Thanks for great headline Nick!

On Tuesday I saw a presentation by Ryan Estis (www.nasrecruitment.com) on “Employment Branding”, or positioning your company as an employer of choice. An example he used of an employer that really does this well was…Google. He detailed why people LOVE to work at Google, and why they are able to draw the best in A-level talent. The point is that EVERYTHING is important when you are building a business, and at the end of the day, keep it simple, as well.

Good questions to ask:
1) Does this work for my customers?
2) Does it work for our company?
3) How do we keep it effective and make it easy for everyone involved?

Ahhhh-- but why did you switch?

:-)

I'm not looking for a pat on the back, but another side story to this is about viral marketing, no?

Cheers for making the switch. Glad you joined the cult!
